CHICAGO, October 9, 2017 – ExteNet Systems, the leading provider of Distributed Network Systems (DNS) enabling advanced cellular, wireless and broadband connectivity across urban and rural America, today announced a new indoor deployment at the Columbia Center, the tallest skyscraper in Seattle. The announcement comes one day before ExteNet keynotes at HetNet Expo 2017, a premier event for the communications infrastructure industry, organized by Wireless Infrastructure Association (WIA).

Columbia Center, the tallest building in the Pacific Northwest, joins a roster of more than 350 outdoor and indoor distributed networks that ExteNet owns and operates in the United States.

“Building tenants and visitors expect wireless service to work flawlessly inside, irrespective of the size of the building,” said Katarina Kueber, General Manager at Urban Renaissance Group. “Today, wireless infrastructure is deemed critical for enhanced business performance and operations, with building owners and managers risking loss of business without adequate investment in indoor wireless coverage. We are extremely glad to be working with a proven leader like ExteNet in our network design and build.”

“The demand, need and expectation for reliable wireless infrastructure and broadband connectivity continues to grow – in indoor environments as well as outdoor,” said Ross Manire, President and CEO of ExteNet Systems. “ExteNet has a long history of working with carriers, property owners and managers, and we continually push ourselves to find innovative ways to design and deploy communication networks that deliver a win-win proposition economically for everyone involved.”

In addition to this announcement, ExteNet will be represented at the HetNet Expo in the following sessions and reception event:

  • Tuesday, October 10 at 9:25 a.m. ET in the Grand Ballroom: Mr. Manire will conduct a keynote, where he will discuss the current densification landscape, as well as the state of the connected real estate and enterprise markets.
  • Tuesday, October 10 at 1:15 p.m. ET in the Grand Ballroom: H. Anthony Lehv (ExteNet’s Senior Vice President and General Counsel) will participate on a panel titled, “State Legislation and FCC Reform: An Update on Small Cell Siting.”
  • Tuesday, October 10 at 6 p.m. ET in the Palm Beach County Convention Center Courtyard: ExteNet will be sponsoring the networking reception. It will be the fourth consecutive year that ExteNet will serve as this event’s sole sponsor.
  • Wednesday, October 11 at 2:30 p.m. ET in the Grand Ballroom: Russell Vest (ExteNet’s Executive Director of Business Development) will participate on a panel titled, “Connectivity: Hospitality’s Newest Concierge.”
