Connecting 355 E Ohio With A Distributed Network

Streeter Place was the former name of a 55 story rental apartment skyscraper located in Chicago, Illinois. The building was completed in 2009 and stands 554 feet tall. It is located a quarter of a mile from Lake Michigan and stands adjacent to the Streeterville neighborhood. The building contains 480 units on the first 53 floors. It was rebranded and renovated in 2014, with the current name being "Atwater Apartments".

ExteNet’s Distributed Networks addresses the connectivity challenges of urban towers and provides building owners and residents the ability to enjoy seamless mobile coverage, increased data capacity and a host of other advanced services from the leading wireless carriers on the network. ExteNet leveraged its patented iDUCT® technology, which utilized the heating, ventilation and air (HVAC) ducts to transmit wireless signal throughout the building. The iDUCT technology usage helps maintain the strict aesthetic requirements by making the antennas and probes virtually invisible to the residents and visitors.

"It is not uncommon across America that people must walk outdoors to make mobile phone calls because it is difficult to make or hold a call with poor indoor wireless coverage,“ stated ExteNet Chief Technology Officer Tormod Larsen.
