AT&T Stadium, also known as the Death Star for its massive size, can be seen from over 5 miles away from downtown Dallas or Fort Worth. The stadium, which opened in 2009, is home to the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys and is one of the largest stadiums in the world. With a seating capacity of approximately 100,000, depending on event seating arrangement, the stadium is in the top 10 by capacity, worldwide.

Outside of the regularly scheduled NFL games for the Cowboys, AT&T Stadium hosts 30 other high-capacity events, including massive sellout concerts including George Strait, the Rolling Stones and Taylor Swift, record-breaking NBA All-Star games, and the highest-attended boxing match between Manny Pacquiao and Joshua Clottey, just to name a few.

ExteNet Systems was selected to manage the high-capacity fiber backbone within the stadium that includes a Distributed Antenna System (DAS) and massive Head-end space.
