ExteNet Systems, Inc. Taps Veteran Finance Executive John Sharp as Vice President of Finance, Controller
OAKBROOK TERRACE, Illinois—March 10, 2008—John Sharp has joined ExteNet Systems, Inc. as vice president of finance, controller. He brings more than two decades of finance, accounting, planning, and analysis expertise to the company.
“John brings impressive financial management experience to the table,” said Terry Ray, ExteNet Systems Vice President, Strategic Business Initiatives. “His expertise in the financial management of growth-oriented and technology companies is a great asset to ExteNet Systems as our market continues to expand.”
Most recently Sharp was senior director, finance for NEC Corporation’s display solutions division, where he was responsible for all finance and accounting functions for the company’s $700 million division. Prior to joining NEC, he held financial management positions with startups including Cambia Networks and Telenisus Corporation.
Sharp also served as controller, systems division for 3COM Corporation and its predecessor, U.S. Robotics Corporation. Sharp began his career as an auditor with Arthur Young and Company. He is a graduate of the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and is a Certified Public Accountant.
