Title: Pricing Manager

General Overview:

The Pricing Manager will provide intelligence, support, advice and guidance in the pricing process by analyzing information from our construction team, competitors' data, and customer profiles to ensure ExteNet maintains a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the Bid Team to understand specific drivers, needs, and pain points to provide tailored, detailed, competitive pricing for DNS assets.
  • Create/structure new and innovative bid propositions.
  • Determine and manage appropriate profitability and risk assessments for new investments.
  • Support ExteNet's key financial profitability requirements and ensure customer specific needs are addressed.
  • Coordinate and lead complex deal negotiations in line with ExteNet's business principles.
  • Ensure costs and assumptions held within bid models are updated regularly and are accurate at all times.
  • Develop internal tools and processes to support the evolution of ExteNet and the changing requirements from our customers.


  • Possesses the investment analysis experience necessary to tackle and process complex financial issues, such as profitability and risk assessments, quickly and accurately.
  • Demonstrates advanced modeling skills which enable the creation of unique and useful pricing models for Extenet’s portfolio of products and services.
  • Expert level user of Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and especially Excel – including pivot tables, macros, v-lookups, and complex formulas.
  • Thrives in a rapidly-growing, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Has developed polished communication skills necessary to:
  • Collaborate with all departments within a service-driven organization, including: Engineering, Sales, Project Management and Construction and Implementation. • Influence and gain the trust of internal clients, while developing practical solutions to meet customers’ needs and requirements. • Swiftly and clearly summarize the results of analysis to key stakeholders.
  • Utilizes strong decision-making and negotiating skills to identify key business issues and balance conflicting interests.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance is required; CFA designation a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in Bid Pricing for large scale construction projects is highly desirable.
  • Telecommunications/Wireless industry experience is considered a plus.
