Connecting Bankers Life Fieldhouse

Bankers Life Fieldhouse was built to reflect fieldhouses of the past, bucking the trend of designing new, sleek, modern design of new arenas and stadiums. Opening in 1999 as Conseco Fieldhouse, later renamed in 2012 to Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The arena is located in downtown Indianapolis, steps from the city’s hotels and hot restaurants.

The arena, which hosts a variety of events, is the home of the NBA’s Indiana Pacers, who host over 45 games at the facility. In addition, Bankers Life Fieldhouse hosts WNBA games, NCAA college basketball games, concerts, rodeos and other events.

The distributed network at Bankers Life Fieldhouse currently supports 4G-LTE for 2 national wireless carriers, with capacity to support all national carriers.

"At Bankers Life Fieldhouse, we place tremendous emphasis on fan engagement," said Bankers Life Fieldhouse’s VP of IT. "Our cellular network today supports the two largest wireless carriers, and we value our partnership with ExteNet Systems who, besides being responsible for the network, manage the relationships with the carriers on our behalf. Hosting mega events like the NCAA tournament requires the assurance of a highly reliable cellular network and we are looking forward to providing our NCAA fans a complete in-venue experience."
