Andrew Gattorna Joins ExteNet Systems, Inc. as Director of Sales
LISLE, Illinois—August 25, 2008—ExteNet Systems, Inc., announced that Andrew Gattorna (Andy) has become director of sales, west region. ExteNet Systems designs, builds and operates distributed antenna system (DAS) networks for wireless service providers.
Gattorna has more than a dozen years’ experience in data communications and high-technology sales including IP telephony, LAN/WAN and VoIP-based products and solutions.
“Andy is an experienced business development professional who will support our continued focus of providing network solutions that meet our customers’ business requirements,” said Eric Lekacz, ExteNet Systems executive vice president, business development and strategy. “We are pleased to have him on the west region team.”
Gattorna comes to ExteNet Systems from New Century Education, the Piscataway, New Jersey provider of wireless technology-based curriculum instruction, where he was director of west region sales. Prior to New Century Education, Gattorna co-founded the SmartSchools Alliance, which offered small-to-medium-sized school districts the opportunity to purchase high-tech administrative products including VoIP-based communications solutions. Before forming the SmartSchools Alliance, he served as inside sales manager, east region, for Pearson Educational Technologies. He began his career with Paging Network of Arizona, where he was a strategic account manager.
Gattorna earned his BS in Business Administration from Northern Arizona University.
