General Overview:

The Director, Contracts Management and Administration position is an opportunity for an individual to work cross-functionally with multiple departments at ExteNet. The position will report directly to ExteNet’s Senior Vice President and General Counsel. The position will be ExteNet’s senior internal leader responsible for supporting ExteNet’s contracting function through all stages of contract formation and administration, from initial proposals through contract drafting, negotiation, execution and later amendment, renewal or termination, by serving as the principal point of contact, process manager and workflow coordinator between various ExteNet teams. The position also will be responsible for managing all the Company’s contracts and ensuring that critical contract data is captured in Conga Novatus and then made available to Company employees.

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Serving as the primary point of contact and process manager for all contracts work, initiating and tracking the contracting process from initial drafting to negotiation, revision, finalization, execution and delivery
  • Developing, managing and continually improving internal processes governing contract creation, negotiation and execution
  • Responding to questions regarding contracting process and status
  • Ensuring contracts are approved, executed, amended and/or terminated in accordance with applicable ExteNet policies
  • Monitoring and completing contract close-out, extension or renewal, and ensuring relevant notices are created and circulated to appropriate parties
  • Compiling and archiving data from completed contracts and projects and presenting such data in reports and dashboards
  • Providing summaries of key contractual terms to Company stakeholders responsible for implementing and complying with such contracts
  • Serving as a subject matter expert on ExteNet’s contract lifecycle management system, Conga Novatus
  • Developing and implementing workflows to expand usage and functionality of Conga Novatus
  • Overseeing uploading of accurate terms of active and legacy contracts into Conga Novatus
  • Engaging and training users on Conga Novatus and DocuSign

Qualifications:

  • Proven manager with a solid track record in managing the overall contract management and administration process
  • 5-7 years’ experience in contract management and administration
  • Substantial experience with DocuSign and Conga Novatus
  • Background in the wireless infrastructure industry, telecommunications or real estate preferred as is experience in high-growth companies
  • Extensive experience in managing or coordinating direct and indirect teams
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, serve as a trusted intermediary and otherwise interact with all levels across the organization
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with all staff Company-wide with an emphasis on clear written documentation of events, changes, and decisions
  • Experience working closely with sales teams and external customers strongly preferred
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and other relevant computer programs and office technology
